LameXP 3.11 Hotfix-1 (Build 53) почему-то не может перекодировать одну!!! (из альбома) песенку формата mp3PRO VBR. Получается, в зависимости от выбранного формата сжатия, файл размером 1-2 kb содержащий ID3v1 и ID3v2 заголовки.
(Формат mp3PRO VBR встречается редко, но существует, например в Nero).
WinAmp этот трек кодирует нормально (Кодировщик MP3 v1.35a), хотя и непонятно как задать "средний" битрейт, а при воспроизведении (для всех mp3PRO VBR) неправильно показывает средний битрейт, сиИильно увеличивает длительность и, возможно, уполовинивает частоту дискретизации.
Кто-нибудь знает, как бороться с тем что:
1) LameXP (в том числе и более ранние версии) - не кодирует, причем по своему выбору
2) WinAmp - неправильно показывает информацию о файлах формата mp3PRO VBR
3) WinAmp - не позволяет точно задать средний битрейт при кодировании в mp3

И если говоришь "Убогая оболочка" - аргументируй, иначе это пустой звук.
Читай название темы LameXP. Если говорить про один лейм, то лейм-фронт-енд на порядок выше за ЛеймХП, полностью визуально можно поменять любую настройку, хотя я лично могу и командной строкой все зделать.
Но если говорить о комбайнах, которые и рубают и режут и колят, то тут мой выбор за dBpoweramp, CUEtools, или банально даже фубар2000. А мнение мое так же не подвижно, леймХП - убогая :-x:

- Обеспечивает наиболее возможное качество MP3Почти, но не совсем - ибо не даёт менять частоту среза ФНЧ. Например, при предельных настройках VBR (все движки на макс. качестве) частота среза выставляется 19.5 килогерц
(а хотелось бы - 20.5)
Добавил бы Малдер CLI - не было бы проге цены (хотя она и так за free :)

Попробовал - чем дальше, тем страшней пока: пораметры кодера (mp3 - Lame) передаёт неверно, русские теги - не поддерживает
На бету не тянет
PS. Вообще все версии LameXP 4.xx, включая финальную, с тегами (не только русскими) работают неправильно.
Непонятно - смотрит ли автор результаты ? Тем более, что последняя версия 3.хх работает нормально

Тогда воспльзуйся оболочкой Razor Lame ([Ссылки могут видеть только зарегистрированные и активированные пользователи]). В ней, в настройках, указывается путь к директории, где лежит Lame.
К сожалению, Razor Lame не развивается

(1) как в этой - не знаю, но в предыдущих 4-ых даже аглицкие теги якобы "поддерживались" запредельно криво.
Причём в 3-ей версии поддерживались нормально. Что случилось, ума не приложу
(2) с этим к Лорду Малдеру (автору). создаётся впечатление, что он эту свою прогу в работе не пробует (или делает оч. серию Х-файлов :)

ЗЫ. М-но воспользоваться сторонними тег-редакторами. Их есть тут,
например TagScanner ([Ссылки могут видеть только зарегистрированные и активированные пользователи])
