UltraDefrag это мощная программа для дефрагментации дисков. Первая, среди программ с открытым исходным кодом, которая может обрабатывать файлы, заблокированные системой, такие как файлы реестра и файл подкачки. Программа работает с этими файлами на этапе загрузки Windows, когда они еще не заблокированы.

Другая важнейшая цель программы - максимальная скорость дефрагментации.

UltraDefrag прекрасно работает на Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 и на всех 64-битных версиях Windows.
• Дефрагментация во время загрузки Windows:
Эта функция программы позволяет обрабатывать файлы, которые обычно заблокированы системой, например реестр и файл подкачки.

• Выключение компьютера после завершения работы:
Если дефрагментация занимает много времени, включите эту опцию и UltraDefrag выключит ваш компьютер после завершения дефрагментации. Эта опция уменьшает расход электроэнергии и делает ваш компьютер безопаснее.

• Быстрая оптимизация диска:

This preview release includes the new GUI design and the new log file creation feature.
Analysis, defragmentation and two optimization strategies are implemented.
The final release candidat is mainly focused on performance improvements.

GUI:
The volume list hight can now be adjusted by dragging the bottom border of it.
Progress is now displayed in the status column of the volume list.
The volume label is now displayed in the volume list. Please check if all localized labels are displayed correctly.
There are now more actions available to be executed when UltraDefrag terminates.
The cluster map now displays unused map blocks in gray, so they can not be confused with free space.

Command line interface:
It is now possible to specify paths as arguments, which has fixed a problem with the Explorer context menu handler on Vista and above.

Driver:
Defragmentation of regular files and volume metafiles was improved.
Full optimization has been reimplemented, which processes all files despite of fragmentation.
Quick optimization has been added, which mainly processes fragmented files.
Creation of a log file by setting an environment variable is now possible, which highly simplifies reporting problems.

Reports:
The file size, file status and report creation date and time were added to the fragmentation reports.
